The Hand-in-Hand Program provides volunteers to assist the elderly (62 and over) and adults with functional disabilities remain independent in their own homes. Volunteers help with tasks such as:
- Light Housework (cleaning, vacuuming)
- Sewing, Ironing
- Donation Pickup/Drop-off
- Simple Handy Work
- Technology Support (Phones,
- Computers, TV
- Heavy Housework (moving furniture)
- Organizing/Decluttering
- Sorting, Reading Mail
- Paint/Retouch Walls
- Pet Care (Feeding, Grooming, Walking)
Cites Served : Aliso Viejo, Dana Point, Irvine, Laguna Beach, Laguna Hills, Laguna Niguel, Mission Viejo, Rancho Santa Margarita, San Clemente, San Juan Capistrano, Trabuco Canyon
REQUIREMENTS :
- Must be +18
- +14 may be accompanied by an adult
- Completed Volunteer Application & background check
- Valid driver’s license, vehicle registration & proof of insurance for all drivers*
- *Passengers (non-drivers) do not need driver’s license, registration and proof of insurance
