LePage Park is located at the confluence of the John Day and Columbia Rivers just five miles from Rufus, Oregon, and the John Day Dam. Popular activities include boating, world-class fishing, and swimming. Duties include visitor services and light maintenance of grounds and facilities. LePage Park has 22 RV/Tent sites and 20 walk-in tent sites (weekends only) as well as a day-use area with a swim beach, boat launch and picnic area. Normal temperature range for the month of July is 58° to 91°F though temperatures in the upper 90’s or higher are not uncommon, though generally of short duration. Target schedule is working 5 days on with 5 days off alternating with another camp host.
