Come spend some time in the company of our burros. Help the burros learn to trust people while you interact with and provide necessary care.
A day in the life may include scooping pens, filling water troughs, feeding burros and other farm animals, helping with special projects, interacting with burros, rewarding milestones, supporting gentling, and bonding with burros.

Mission Statement
Our mission is to find trusted homes for previously wild and domestic burros. We act as stewards to the burros through training and education of the burros and the burro community.
Description
Burro Base Camp started in 2016 and became a 501(c)(3) in January 2023. We are 100% volunteer and donation-driven in our efforts to support our burros. We provide care as well as training to gentle the burros and help them learn to trust the people who surround them. A day with the burros provides an awesome opportunity to learn from and understand the bonds that form with our long-eared friends!
