Volunteers at Our Hope play a crucial role in our commitment to uplift underserved communities. Engaging in our flagship program, H.E.L.L.O, you contribute to academic support, outdoor activities, and artistic expression. Demonstrating cultural sensitivity, you bridge linguistic barriers to ensure effective communication with East African families.

Your active involvement extends to prioritizing digital literacy, youth development, and health and wellness initiatives within our community-based program. Consistent commitment to agreed-upon schedules and prompt communication of any changes or challenges is essential.

Qualifications include a passion for community service, effective communication skills, and flexibility to adapt to evolving program and community needs. As a volunteer, you gain hands-on experience in community outreach, contribute to creating an inclusive environment, and, if a high school student, have the opportunity to earn Service Learning credits.
