Are you interested in healthcare administration or hospice? HarmonyCares Hospice is the perfect place to dip your feet into administrative work! Those who are looking to start a career in healthcare administration, or those who are looking for a unique and meaningful way to give back to their community, will get hands-on training and firsthand experience as a HarmonyCares Hospice administrative volunteer. Administrative volunteers will have the flexibility of working from the office closest to them, or from the comfort of their own home.

Description
HarmonyCares Hospice of Lansing provides patients with a terminal illness, with a life expectancy of 6 months or less, the specialized care needed at end of life. Volunteers provide a wide range of activities across several counties including Ingham, Shiawassee, Clinton, Jackson, and Eaton. Volunteers can sign up to provide companionship, emotional support, supportive presence, light housekeeping, lawn/ pet care, and MUCH MUCH MORE!

- Since we are working with an at risk population, all volunteers will be required to undergo a drug screening, TB testing, fingerprinting, and background check. All testing is set up and paid for by HarmonyCares Hospice. (ages 14-17 excluded)
