Muindi Foundation’s Learn Now programs are designed to support homeless, marginalized, under resourced and low-income elementary age children in reaching grade level and proficiency levels necessary to successfully progress through school.

What Volunteer: Make a positive impact on a child's life by helping them to enjoy learning.

Requirements: Assist in delivering educational support. Provide a supportive, safe,and positive experience for our kids. Background check

What you will do: You will be a tutor to low income, under-resourced, and marginalized elementary age children, many of which English is a second language. You will empower children to change the trajectory of their lives through educational success. You'll also play an integral role in helping our kids build confidence, develop strong work ethic, and to pursue their goals.

Who you will help: Children entering grades 1st - 6th who need extra help in school. You will assist them in attaining grade level.

Work Dates: February 20, 2024 - April 25, 2024 (MTWTH)

Workdays: Monday - Wednesday
Time: 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm

We focus on building competencies in reading, writing and math in a fun and safe environment. Our goal is for our students to develop strong academic skills, enjoy learning, and build life-changing positive relationships.
