Position: Human Resources Intern

Position Overview:

ReDefiners World Languages seeks an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team as an HR Intern/Volunteer. This position offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of human resources within a dynamic and diverse organization dedicated to promoting language learning and cultural understanding.

Responsibilities:

1. Recruitment Support:

- Assist in drafting job postings and advertisements for various positions.

- Screen resumes and applications, conducting initial candidate assessments.

- Coordinate interview schedules and communicate with candidates.

1. Onboarding and Orientation:

- Support the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition.

- Assist in preparing orientation materials and schedules.

1. HR Administration:

- Maintain HR records and databases, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

- Support in organizing and updating employee files and documentation.

- Assist with HR-related correspondence and communications.

1. Compliance and Policies:

- Assist in ensuring compliance with HR policies and procedures.

- Support HR staff in updating and maintaining employee handbook and policies.

1. Special Projects:

- Contribute to HR projects such as employee engagement initiatives, training programs, or diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts.

Qualifications:

- Pursuing a graduate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).

- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.

- Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to learn.
