Schedule: ONE DAY EVENT Monday, January 29, 2024. 4:30pm-9:00pm
Program Description:
The Trail Blazers Foundation 5050 Raffle offers fans the opportunity to win 50% of each home game’s jackpot while supporting their favorite local nonprofits. IRCO will be the featured nonprofit of the Portland Trailblazers vs Philadelphia 76ers game on January 29, 2024.
Fans will buy their raffle tickets from volunteer sellers at the game. The winning raffle number is pulled in the 3rd quarter and announced in the 4th quarter. 50% of the net proceeds is awarded to the winning number and the remaining 50% is split between the Trailblazers Foundation and IRCO
Position Summary:
Volunteers will meet at the box office lobby at 4:30pm, and then sell tickets on handheld devices to fans around the various levels of the Moda Center before the game and during the first half. Volunteers should expect to participate for about 3-4 hours. When halftime ends and the 3 rd quarter begins, volunteers should return to the main 5050 booth on the 100-level concourse near entry A7 to return their equipment. Once the equipment has been returned, volunteers are welcome to take their seats (tickets provided) and watch the remainder of the game.
Recommendations for volunteers:
- Wear comfortable and appropriate clothing and footwear (layers recommended). An IRCO T-Shirt will be provided to all volunteers.
- Moda Center has a 'No bag policy’ (excluding diaper bags & medical needs).
- Moda Center is a cashless venue - no cash is accepted.
- There is a coat check to keep your coat secure while volunteering.
- Outside food is not allowed.
- Transportation options will be sent to confirmed volunteers.
Qualifications :
- Should be able to walk and stand for 3-4 hours
- Personable, and customer service skills appreciated
Time Commitment: One day only: January 29, 2024, from 4:30-9:00pm.
Requirements:
- Must arrive to Moda center by 4:30pm on January 29, 2024, to check-in
- Must pass background check
- Must be over 18 years old or at least 16 if accompanied by a parent/guardian
- Must NOT consume/purchase alcohol while volunteering
