The comfort of a dog's wagging tail is the best medicine for patients with Alzheimer's and dementia related illnesses. Looking for four legged volunteers to make friendly pet therapy visits with hospice patients at one of our Assisted Living and Nursing Home we partner with. Humans required to complete volunteer application, background check/fingerprint, TB and on-line training-provided FREE of charge.

Description
Hospice Volunteers come from all walks of life, yet they all share a common desire-to enrich their own lives and the lives of others by giving generously of their time, energy and talents. Volunteers are an integral part of our hospice team. Once trained they may work in several areas: Administrative, Direct Patient Care Visitation for companionship and support, Bereavement support, Pet therapy, Music Therapy and many other Special Alternative Complementary services.
