The CLT Canine Crew is looking for volunteers who have registered therapy dogs to spread good vibes at Charlotte Douglas International Airport. Experienced dog handlers who are at least 18-years old and registered with Alliance of Therapy Dogs are encouraged to apply!

Volunteer candidates will be required to submit an application to join the program and pass a background check.

The Charlotte Douglas Airport Volunteer Program is committed to providing airport customers with a positive experience through exceptional customer service and Southern hospitality.

Description

Charlotte Douglas International Airport is looking for enthuastic and outgoing volunteers to meet, greet and assist customers that travel through its terminal.

Airport Volunteers are an information resource for customers while also serving as the face of the Airport and the City of Charlotte.

Volunteers must be able to:

  • Make a 6 month commitment upon joining the program.
  • Perform a minimum of two shifts per month, the shifts are four hours.
  • Shedule the volunteer shift two weeks in advance.
  • Meet outlined program requirements on an ongoing basis.

Please be advised that all selected candidates must go through additional screening to qualify for this volunteer program. Selected candidates are required to participate in a one-day training session.
