ORGANIZATION: Greenheart Exchange

Are you open minded?
Are you caring?
Do you enjoy different cultures and experiences?
Are you someone that enjoys being a guide and role model?

If you answered YES to any of these, let's get you involved in exchange! Our volunteer host families are the guiding force behind making dreams come true. Host families choose a student (or two) from countries all over the world. The students arrive and become an integral part of your family. They are here to immerse themselves into your world and share their own. There is nothing more exciting than experiencing another culture while sitting at your own family dinner table.

Host families must be safe, understanding, caring and open minded to the different visions and experiences of the students. Students follow host family rules and expectations and come to their new family with a guiding local coordinator that is there for every step of the way.

There are NO perfect families. This experience is about change and growth, where nothing is better or worse, just different. Single parents, single persons, non traditional, empty nesters and traditional families are ALL warmly welcomed. Your local coordinator will guide you through the process every step of the way.
