Hospitality House needs volunteers like you. We serve nearly 850 households twice each month and distribute almost 70,000 pounds of food to those households.
We embrace the diversity of volunteers who share their time and gifts with us. From long-term volunteer projects to one-day volunteer shifts, there is a way for you to get involved. The mission of Hospitality House is to minimize deprivation in our community by providing food to those in need while maintaining the utmost respect for the dignity of the individual. Hospitality House works to fulfill this mission by operating a food pantry and providing referral services. In addition, Hospitality House also provides advice and aid to pantries in other cities as they work to fight hunger in the greater southeastern Michigan community

Hospitality House is the largest client-choice food pantry in Oakland County Michigan. We provide crucial support by distributing free food to more than 750 families at or below 200% of the federal poverty level.

REQUIREMENTS
- You can volunteer on days and at times that best suit your schedule.
- Children 12 and younger must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to volunteer. If you volunteer to fulfill court-ordered community service your infraction cannot be a violent crime or involve minors. You must wear closed-toe shoes in the pantry.
