Have you always wanted to support patients and families but weren't sure how to help? Compassus Hospice will provide you with training and support to make a true difference in the lives of others!
We are looking for volunteers to come along side and companion a hospice patient. Perhaps they love to play cards or talk about their life experiences. Perhaps they loved to read but can no longer. Start a friendship by offering to read to them or take the time to listen to their stories. Perhaps the caregiver needs to get groceries or have lunch with a friend, we offer respite time so the caregiver can take some much-needed time for themselves.
Hospice is about giving comfort and hope by improving the quality of life of the patient. If you have a heart full of compassion, WE WOULD LOVE TO HAVE YOU ON OUR VOLUNTEER TEAM!
A comprehensive training and orientation are provided along with opportunities to meet other volunteers to share experiences and receive support.

- The beauty of hospice volunteering is that you can fit it into a busy schedule; however, patients look forward to seeing their new friend. Recommendation is 1x/week or bi-weekly visits.
