ORGANIZATION: Allies for Every Child

Allies for Every Child seeks volunteers passionate about community engagement and service for our Winter Festival on December 16, 2023. We will be celebrating the holidays with Allies' families, providing fun activities, refreshments, and a toy giveaway for attendees.

Volunteer Responsibilities include but are not limited to: decorations, setting up and breaking down chairs and tables, leading and/or assisting activity stations, serving snack, directing traffic and crowds, supporting staff.

Mission Statement

Allies for Every Child works to ensure that every child has a safe and nurturing environment and the support necessary to grow, learn and thrive. Allies supports under-served, vulnerable children and their families in southwest Los Angeles County by providing a full range of crucial, multidisciplinary services, including child development (early care and education and special needs) and child welfare (foster care and adoption, family support, family preservation, infant and family mental health, health consultation and referrals).

Allies for Every Child has a variety of volunteer opportunities to fit your interests. See below for a sampling: - Classroom Helpers in our preschool and toddler classrooms - Administrative projects, filling, data entry, etc; - Weekend events, large and small - Holiday gift wrapping - Toy drives - Childcare during several parenting classes and meetings - Help maintaining our organic children learning garden - The list goes on!
