Mission Statement

At The Duck Sanctuary, aka The Duck Pond Inc., we are committed to the rescue and rehabilitation of sick and injured ducks, geese, and other domestic waterfowl that have been heartlessly dumped and abandoned, often after being impulsively purchased as holiday gifts. Understanding the plight of these intelligent and social creatures, we stand as a beacon of hope, offering them a safe haven and forever homes where they can thrive and be appreciated for their unique personalities. We strive to educate the community about the responsibilities of caring for these animals and the cruelty of abandonment, fostering a world where waterfowl are valued and cared for, regardless of the circumstances leading to their rescue.
