You must read and sign a Volunteer Agreement to come upon with us. If you are not comfortable with that then please do not get our hopes up about you wanting to Volunteer to assist our organization. Warriors First Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to providing vital support to military service members, veterans, and first responders. Our mission is to empower and uplift those who have selflessly served our country by offering temporary housing, financial assistance, and access to crucial services.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Volunteer Assistant to join our team. This vital role supports the day-to-day operations of our organization and plays a key part in helping us achieve our mission. As a Volunteer Assistant, you will work closely with our team to ensure the efficient functioning of our programs and services.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in administrative tasks such as data entry, record-keeping, and document organization.
• Manage and respond to emails and inquiries from volunteers, clients, and partners.
• Help coordinate volunteer schedules and activities.
• Assist in organizing and promoting fundraising events.
• Collaborate with the team to develop and update marketing materials.
• Contribute to social media content and engagement efforts.
• Conduct research as needed to support our programs and initiatives.
• Attend virtual team meetings and provide input on organizational strategies.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
• Proficient in using basic computer software and internet applications.
• A passion for our mission and a desire to make a positive impact.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic nonprofit environment.
• Ability to commit a minimum of [10 hours/week] to this volunteer role.
