ORGANIZATION: Volunteers in Medicine Clinic

Volunteer Ophthalmologists and Optometrists have scheduled appointments with VIM patients to provide eye care. VIM has recently installed the Welch Allyn Retina Vue 700 device as a diagnostic tool in the Eye Clinic, to scan the retina for eye problems including diabetic retinopathy. The Retina Vue is the latest addition to our eye program which also includes diagnostic equipment such as a Tonometer, Auto-Refractor and an Optical Coherence Tomographer (O.C.T.). This equipment and VIM volunteers support our eye team, including Optometrists, Opthalmologists and a Retina Specialist.
