The Martin Luther King, Jr., National Holiday is on the third Monday of each January. In 2024, it is on Monday, January 15. It is a National Day of Service to encourage all Americans to volunteer to improve their communities. It is a day to engage with your community and create constructive action and act on Dr. King’s legacy of social justice and equity.
West Tuality Habitat for Humanity will be hosting volunteers on January 15, 9 to noon, in an event we have created especially for the day:
The day will start with volunteers learning about Martin Luther King, Jr., about the King’s Center’s connections to Habitat for Humanity, and Habitat’s commitment to equity and social justice through its advocacy for access to decent, affordable housing.

West Tuality Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit organization that helps families in Western Washington County, Oregon build and improve places to call home. Description
We are West Tuality Habitat for Humanity, based in Forest Grove, Oregon. We are a nonprofit organization committed to bringing people together to build homes, communities and hope. With the help of donors, volunteers, and sponsors we team up with local families to build homes with an affordable mortgage and do critical home repairs in Western Washington County. We serve the communities of Forest Grove, Cornelius, Gaston, Gales Creek, Buxton, Banks, North Plains and the surrounding areas in Western Washington County, Oregon. We are an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International.
