ORGANIZATION: U.S. Army Corps of Engineers

Seeking engaging couple to assist hosting at Woodring Campground at beautiful Carters Lake in Chatsworth, GA. Carters Lake is a hidden gem located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains and nearby to several desirable mountain towns.


Campground Host duties are geared toward more time outside in the campground. These duties include: tracking incoming reservations online- Recreation.gov, posting site paperwork to complete camper self-check-in, basic site cleaning, interacting with the public and providing information while in the park, light landscaping during shift, reporting maintenance issues to Ranger staff.


Government provided cell phone, computer and vehicle while on duty. Hosts typically work 4-on/4-off schedule in exchange for a spacious 50/30-amp full hook up site on location and access to free washer/dryer. Daily duty times are 9am-9pm for expected campground host availability.
