Mission Statement

Our mission is to protect the biodiversity and natural beauty of Ecuador by involving local communities and promoting sustainable conservation through scientific research, environmental education, and influencing public policy.

Description

We are an environmental organization focused on conserving the biodiversity and ecosystems of Ecuador. Our multidisciplinary team of biologists, ecologists, environmental educators and community managers works to protect the country's native and endemic species through management plans, restore degraded forests and wetlands, and promote eco-friendly production practices.

We develop educational programs to raise awareness about the importance of conservation aimed at local communities, schools, businesses and decision makers. We involve residents in initiatives that rescue their ancestral knowledge about their natural surroundings. We also seek to influence public policies and laws to strengthen environmental protection in Ecuador.

Our dream is to see Ecuador's incredible landscapes and biodiversity thrive for future generations through impactful conservation actions.
