ORGANIZATION: Itty Bitty Orphan Kitty Rescue

We are looking to expand our volunteer base and need someone to screen new volunteer applicants and get them oriented. We are actively recruiting volunteers with experience in social media, SEO, webpage support, administrative help, and training to become adoption counselors at our offsite adoption events. Our Volunteer Coordinator will also supervise our teen volunteers at adoption events when necessary. Most of the time you will be working from your home, emailing volunteer packets, making phone calls, responding to volunteer applicants on Volunteer Match, texting volunteers with updates and organizing volunteers for fundraising events.

This is a board position.

Mission Statement

Itty Bitty Orphan Kitty Rescue is an all volunteer organization specializing in the rescue of tiny orphaned and abandoned kittens. Kittens under 8 weeks old are at high risk for euthanasia if surrendered to a shelter as they require a level of care that they are unable to provide. IBOK Rescue pulls pre-weaned kittens from local shelters and bottlefeeds them until they are old enough to eat on their own and be spayed/neutered and adopted.

Itty Bitty Orphan Kitty Rescue is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. We are a "no kill" organization and staffed entirely by volunteers. All funding comes through your donations.

Description

We are a non-profit, no-kill, kitten rescue organization. We rescue from local shelters, place kittens into foster homes and provide specialized care for these kittens until they are old enough to be adopted. We do not currently have a facility and all of our kittens live in foster homes.
