Lost Dog & Cat Rescue Foundation is seeking volunteer Greeters to fill a weekly two hour shift. Greeters are the first face volunteers and visitors see when they walk through our doors. We are looking for individuals who are comfortable speaking to the public, interacting with dogs, and monitoring activity at our entrance. This role will require some time spent standing and walking. All volunteers at our center must be at least 18 years of age. The Lost Dog & Cat Rescue Foundation Rescue Care Center is located at 6801 Wilson Blvd, Falls Church VA 22044. Mission Statement

The Lost Dog & Cat Rescue Foundation (LDCRF), a 501 c (3) non-profit organization, is a highly dedicated group of volunteers that rescues abandoned or displaced dogs and cats from the threat of euthanasia by area shelters or other at-risk situations. Once in our care, these companion animals are fully vaccinated and spayed or neutered. Since its founding in 2001, over 45,000 animals' lives have been saved by finding them loving homes.

Description

What Does Lost Dog and Cat Rescue Do?
LDCRF partners with shelters in rural areas of Virginia, Louisiana, North Carolina, Mississippi, and other states to save dogs and cats that are at high risk of being euthanized.
