We're looking for a few folks to establish a Friends of the library group at PPLD’s Manitou Springs branch. Structure, training, and ongoing support will be provided. If you love books, the library, and the Manitou community, this could be the volunteer opportunity you’ve been looking for! Concurrent membership in the Friends of PPLD organization is required with low annual dues ($15 Senior, $20 Adult).

Description
The Friends of the Pikes Peak Library District was established on March 11, 1955 in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Colorado Springs Public Library, and incorporated as a nonprofit organization in 1969.
We support the Pikes Peak Library District by serving as community advocates, raising funds to enhance library services and programs, promoting the love of reading and books, and recirculating materials in environmentally responsible ways.
