The Wright Cause Urban Youth Conservation (TWCUYC) is a charitable organization established in 2022 committed to empowering underserved youth and building a future where every young person has access to the support and resources they need to realize their full potential.

**Role Description:**
As a Grant Writer at TWCUYC, you will be a vital part of our team, responsible for securing funding through grant applications. Your ability to craft compelling proposals will directly impact our ability to provide essential services to underserved youth. This role is crucial in supporting and expanding our programs.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Research grant opportunities from various foundations, government agencies, and organizations.
- Write, edit, and submit grant proposals, ensuring they align with the requirements and goals of potential funders.
- Collaborate with TWCUYC program managers to gather information and data for grant applications.
- Develop budgets and financial information as required by grant applications.
- Maintain a calendar of grant deadlines and ensure timely submissions.
- Monitor the progress of grant applications and communicate with funders as needed.
- Track and report on the status and outcomes of submitted grant applications.
- Stay informed about current trends and best practices in grant writing.
- Assist in developing grant-related materials, such as reports and progress updates.
- Ensure compliance with grant reporting and documentation requirements.

**Qualifications and Qualities:**

Description

Through our unwavering commitment to youth empowerment, The Wright Cause Urban Youth Conservation strives to provide support, guidance, and opportunity for youth. We are dedicated to creating a future where every young person’s potential is realized, their dreams are celebrated, and their voices are amplified.

Resilience Rising- Transitional Housing for Youth Impacted by HIV- We are committed to providing a haven and empowering opportunities for young adults aged 18-24 whom HIV impacts. We believe in their strength, resilience, and ability to overcome challenges. The young adults participating in Resilience Rising may be impacted by HIV in various ways, even if they are not HIV-positive.

One Hour, Infinite Impact- We believe in the power of youth to create positive change in their communities. Our program, "One Hour, Infinite Impact," is designed to engage and empower young people to serve their assigned communities in the most needed areas of the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

EmpowerED for Life -Our goal is to transform the lives of at-risk youth and individuals with a history in the criminal justice system. Our program, "EmpowerED for Life," is dedicated to reducing recidivism, preventing prison involvement, and equipping participants with crucial life skills, including soft skills.
