We’re looking for professional photographers to photograph the one-year anniversary celebration of the Habitat NYC and Westchester ReStore in Yonkers.
Your responsibility is to capture the different activities of the event. Taking posed, candid, portrait, group shots, etc.
The event will take place in Yonkers (Westchester) on Saturday, October 5th.
Location: 470 Nepperhan Ave, Yonkers NY
Time committment: 2 hours on site + post production time
Timeframe on October 5th: 11am - 3pm (any two-hour window during this time)
- We ask that you send your top 10 selects within 48 hours post-event. Remaining photos can be sent within the week.
Skills/Experience:
- Applicants must provide samples of their work (online portfolio, website, or social media account)
- Event experience preferred but not required
- Ability to travel to site
- Have your own professional equipment
- Professional post-production ability

Description
Habitat for Humanity New York City and Westchester County creates, preserves, and advocates for healthy, affordable homes and the generational equity-building opportunities that homeownership provides. With the support of thousands of volunteers each year, we’re building a more equitable New York-to address centuries of unjust, racist housing laws and financing mechanisms that prevented communities of color from entering the homeownership market and shaped the geography of the wealth, health, and education inequality we see today.
