Duncan Street Miracle Garden is a half-acre food garden, covering the 1800 block of Duncan Street. The garden grows a large variety of fruits and vegetables. The food is donated to the local homeless population, churches, and soup kitchens. Volunteer days will include activities such as planting, weeding, harvesting, mowing, pruning, and picking up trash. We welcome individuals, groups, and people of all ages and abilities.

We have regular weekly volunteer days throughout the spring and summer season which you can view the schedule of here: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C084AADAA2CA7F9CE9-45091376-duncan.

If you have any questions regarding volunteering please feel free to reach out to morgan.wittelsberger@baltimorecity.gov.

About Bmore Beautiful

Location:

1 N Charles St, Baltimore, MD 21201, US

Mission Statement

BMORE Beautiful is a grassroots peer-to-peer beautification program. The goal of the program is to not only change behaviors and attitudes towards the beautification of the City, but to also encourage residents, businesses, and organizations to become directly involved in activities and projects that will keep their neighborhoods clean.

Description

We work closely with neighborhoods on their unique beautification projects and cleanliness challenges, as well as provide educational literature, outreach materials, and other resources that residents can use to Keep BMORE Beautiful. There are six elements essential to our approach: community organizing, seasonal community champions summits, community improvement projects, troubleshooting, communication, and education.
