Job description
We are seeking a Project Coordinator to join our innovative Apps for Good program. In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to guide and support college students as they develop real-world technology projects aimed at addressing pressing social issues and community needs.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and oversee multiple student-led projects, ensuring they align with the program's mission and goals
  • Facilitate effective communication between student teams, mentors, and community partners
  • Provide guidance and support to student teams throughout the project lifecycle, from ideation to implementation
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential challenges, and work with teams to develop solutions
  • Organize and conduct regular project review meetings and milestone check-ins
  • Assist in the development and delivery of workshops and training sessions related to software engineering, project management, and social impact
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive environment that encourages creativity, innovation, and personal growth
  • Evaluate project outcomes and impact and contribute to the continuous improvement of the Apps for Good program
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • 2+ years of experience in project management, preferably in a technology or software development setting
  • Strong understanding of software development processes and methodologies
  • Experience with agile project management tools and techniques is a plus
Requirements
  • 4 to 8 hours per week.
  • Virtual position.
  • The applicant must reside in the United States or Canada.
