Mission Statement

Broadway Community sets an abundant table, believing that everyone deserves justice, dignity, health, and wholeness. We empower one another with nourishing food, a welcoming environment, shelter, medical care, life skills practice, and faithful accompaniment through challenging times. We serve one another - breaking down barriers of poverty, inequity, and privilege - until all are fed, in body and spirit. We serve.

Description

Over the last 40 years, we have served thousands of New Yorkers experiencing homelessness, hunger, and poverty.

Our staff, volunteers, and community partners serve with unconditional compassion and empathy.

Here, you can find a broad range of programs including a soup kitchen, a food pantry, a seven-night-a-week shelter, on-site medical services, a computer lab, employment assistance, benefits enrollment, a life skills program, and more.
