Volunteers Needed for Critical Home Rebuilding Days in the Greater Charlotte Area[Weekdays only]

Rebuilding Together of Greater Charlotte has several homes identified for repairs in Hidden Valley, and we need lots of volunteers to help get the job done!

Visit rebuildingtogetherclt.org and click on "Get Involved" to sign up for an Orientation. Please note, all of our current opportunities are available on *weekdays only*.

Our most common volunteer tasks include:

• Installing durable vinyl plank flooring, smoke detectors, toilets, handrails, grab bars, door sweeps, and insulation;
• Repairing crawl space doors and exterior mortar and siding;
• Rebuilding exterior decking; and
• Completing yard maintenance and interior demo.

Regardless of what repairs will be happening on any given day, rest assured that you'll be making a deep and lasting impact on the safety and health of individuals and families in the Hidden Valley neighborhood. You can expect to receive a confirmation email at least 24 hours prior to your volunteer date that will include a reminder of the time of your shift, location, and any other necessary information, including special instructions.

**IMPORTANT NOTE** Due to Rebuilding Together of Greater Charlotte’s work with vulnerable health individuals and our responsibility to protect the health and well-being of our clients, volunteers, and staff, we have implemented a COVID-19 vaccination, and testing policy that is responsive to COVID-19 community spread levels.
