Flying Horse Farms is excited to partner with the Columbus Blue Jackets Foundation for the 50/50 Raffle. This is an amazing opportunity for camp to receive a donation that is critical to supporting more campers.
Volunteers are needed to sell raffle tickets at the 1/16/2025 game night. All volunteers must be at least 18 years old, and will need to be available, in person, at Nationwide Arena the night of the game. No prior camp experience is needed.
Who we are:
At Flying Horse Farms we provide magical, transformative camp experiences for children with serious illnesses. Located on 200 acres just outside Mt. Gilead, Ohio, the camp hosts hundreds of children and families each year--at no cost to families.
The children who benefit from camp have illnesses including cancer, heart disease, arthritis, blood disorders, pulmonary disease, gastrointestinal disease, kidney disease, and craniofacial anomalies.
For a weekend or week at a time, being sick takes a backseat to being a kid. And fun is priority number one.

Mission Statement
Our mission is to provide magical, transforming fun to children living with serious illnesses and their families through year round, medically safe and cost free camping experiences.
Description
We are a full member of the SeriousFun Children's Network which was founded by actor and philanthropist Paul Newman.
We provide magical and transformative camp experiences for children who are living with serious illnesses at no cost to their families.
Our children are living with cancer, sickle cell disease, heart disease, severe arithritis, severe asthma, kidney diease, and cranio-facial anamolies.
Camp for these children could be theri first chance at independance, being away from home for the first time with the opportunity to hike, swim, fish, canoe, tell jokes and laugh until theri bellies hurt with other children whose lives are similar. They leave camp with a new idenity no longer being the child who may not have hair because of their treatments but the child who hit the bulls eye, caught the most fish, or created a masterpiece in arts and crafts.
