Are you an artist? What kind of art do you create? Visual? Jewelry? Scrapbooking? Photography? Writing? What about helping a hospice patient create a lasting memory for their loved ones? You can:

  • Create scrapbooks of their photos or help them label photos
  • Help them write a letter or a memoir / book or a poem
  • Make jewelry
  • Put together a musical playlist of their favorites
  • What project would you help them create?
You get special training as a hospice volunteer, then you'll meet a patient that wants your help to create good art that will last beyond their death.
You must pass a background check, complete orientation and mentor with hospice personnel.
