Rocky Mountain Mutual Aid Network is currently in search of dedicated volunteer organizers interested in helping sustain our organization and continue delivering food to families in the Denver Metro area.

Our organizing members bring various skills to the organization, but some of the tasks we work together to accomplish are:

  • Volunteer recruitment/retention
  • Social media management and content creation
  • Fundraising and donor engagement
  • Managing communication with volunteers and food recipients
  • Organization planning/logistics
  • Strategic leadership and community partnership building

We try to meet remotely once a month to touch base and discuss ways to expand our program. If you are interested in mutual aid work and want to contribute to our organization's mission and help us extend our reach in the community, please reach out!

About Rocky Mountain Mutual Aid

Location:

7700 West Woodard Drive, Lakewood, CO 80227, US

Mission Statement

Rocky Mountain Mutual Aid Network is a volunteer-run organization, working in solidarity to increase food access across the Denver metro area for people who self-identify as disabled, immune compromised/high risk, and/or seniors.

Description

Rocky Mountain Mutual Aid began operating in 2020, in response to a need in our community during the Covid-19 pandemic. Thanks largely to our food rescue partner, Joy's Kitchen and our ever-growing crew of dedicated volunteers, we delivered free groceries to over 800 households in 2022.

Every Friday our volunteers deliver groceries to approximately 15 households across the Denver Metro area to families cannot otherwise access food.
