RiseUp Malawi is a small but growing faith-driven nonprofit based out of Denver, CO with programs in Mangochi, Malawi. We are actively recruiting kingdom minded professionals to join our board in 2024 to grow our networks and share the RiseUp story with more individuals, companies and communities looking to do good. Board members must be willing to fundraise and bring their professional expertise into an advisory role to help guide future decision making and help us scale intentionally and responsibly.

We are looking for committed board members with backgrounds in the following areas: creative/tech, legal, medical, music, education or previous nonprofit work. Board members do not need to be based in Denver. This is a remote opportunity to sit on the board of a growing organization and witness and be a part of life-changing programs in one of the most economically challenged corners of the world. A passion for the world's poor and poverty alleviation efforts are a must.

ABOUT RISEUP MALAWI
Everyday children in Malawi face major barriers to education that keep generations of families locked into cycles of extreme poverty. Some of these barriers include health crises like HIV/AIDS and malaria, high rates of child marriage, long distance commutes to school and economic insecurity in the household, to name a few. Our goal as an organization is to remove these barriers through interventions that promote sustainable development and independence. We do not give hand outs but are committed to walking with our community in relationship in the long term through education.
