NIA Mentoring is a mentoring program that works with New Haven high school students to pair them with a mentee from the New Haven community. This mentoring relationship could be for a variety of reasons- ranging from academic support, to mental/behavioral support, to simply wanting to participate in more pro-social activities or have additional support and guidance. We offer 1 on 1 mentoring, or group mentoring models, and ask for both mentees and mentors to be committed for at least the duration of 1 school year.
You could be the mentor that changes the lives of our youth. Please contact us if interested!
This is a program that Urban Community Alliance, a New Haven community-based non-profit, supports partnered with the Governor's Prevention Partnership.
