Share the gift of reading...become a volunteer tutor. No experience needed to make a major difference in someone's life and help them become the person they wish to be. We provide the training, materials and learner...you provide the flexibility and empathy to give this special gift.
You will be part of a state-wide program providing free, confidential, and one-to-one tutoring for those English-speakers who wish to read and write better.
Tutors are asked, once matched with a learner, to dedicate 3 hours a week to the lesson, and any necessary preparation time. A six month commitment is requested.
