We are open M, W, Th 9-2p Our distribution begins at 10:30a-1:30p

Persons interested could do a variety of tasks from setting up for the distribution, walking clients through the food bank to select their items, filling shelves with product, signing clients in and pulling paperwork, or cleaning up. You can volunteer for a couple of hours or stay 5 hours, it's really what you can do for us. 1st shift starts at 9am-until??? Our day ends around 2pm.
Anyone interested please email at staff@caritasoutreachministries.org or come in during business hours to complete an application. We do background checks...

  • morning / 09:00 AM to 12:00 PM PST - Spots available: 1
    set up stations, sign clients in and walk them through
  • afternoon / 10:30 AM to 01:30 PM PST - Spots available: 1
    walk clients through, clean up, tear down and set up for next days distribution

Caritas Food Bank is an ecumenical nonprofit seeking to serve neighbors in need in NW Spokane by providing food, basic essentials utility assistance and transportation vouchers. We covenant to serve clients without prejudice or discrimination and to preserve their dignity.

Description

Caritas has been serving the NW Spokane community since 1992. We had moved to 1228 W Nebraska in early 2021 during covid. We continue to provide food, and basic essentials. Our future goal is to expand our building to better accommodate our clients.
