Flourish Furniture Bank is a nonprofit organization that provides whole home furnishings to families overcoming housing insecurity. Serving as a support through our showroom, our Showroom Hosts guide our guests through their shopping experience. All new Showroom Hosts must shadow a trained Showrooom Host prior to participate in a training for trauma informed care. Once training is complete, volunteers may shop with guests on their own.

Description
Flourish Furniture Bank is the only furniture bank in Kansas City, providing whole-home furnishings to families and individuals across nine counties. Flourish operates a 28,000 square foot furniture warehouse and showroom in Grandview, Missouri. We collect unneeded furniture and household goods from businesses and residences, then upcycle those items into resources for our neighbors. Through a personalized and supportive shopping experience, we empower clients to select their own furnishings based on their needs and preferences, free of charge.
