Volunteers will be welcoming guests as they arrive, assisting people during their laundry appointments, answering questions or providing information about our organization, socializing with people, playing games, and otherwise just being a friendly and active host. Some light cleaning could also be involved to keep the space clean and presentable for anyone who shows up.
Volunteers will also be responsible for opening/closing the location at the proper times, cleaning up any messes at end of shift, and general operation of the space during these times.

Have A Gay Day started as a social media movement which turned into a non-profit charity organization in 2014. Since that time we have started making moves towards peer to peer support and also have been working on a platform of education and conversation.
