  • The Illinois Student Invention Convention provides free invention curriculum and competition opportunities to K-8th grade educators and students across the state. Over the course of a ~10 week curriculum, students identify a problem they want to solve and create an original prototype that addresses this. Virtual Judges then review and score projects to help us select the year’s winning inventions. They meet with students whose projects they reviewed to ask follow-up questions, provide feedback, and to encourage them to take their invention to the next level.
