The Community School of the Arts Foundation is seeking experienced dance, music, theater, and visual art teachers to help with effective lesson plans from each grade school to provide high-quality arts education to students of all ages online.
Dance Teachers: Dance teachers will lead virtual classes in a variety of dance styles, including ballet, jazz, modern, hip hop, and tap. They will work with students to develop their dance skills, improve their physical fitness, and express themselves creatively.
Music Teachers: Music teachers will lead virtual classes in a variety of musical instruments, including piano, guitar, violin, drums, and voice. They will work with students to develop their musical skills, learn about music theory, and perform in recitals.
Theater Teachers: Theater teachers will lead virtual classes in acting, singing, dancing, and stagecraft. They will work with students to develop their theater skills, learn about theater history, and perform in plays and musicals.
Visual Art Teachers: Visual art teachers will lead virtual classes in drawing, painting, sculpture, and other art forms. They will work with students to develop their art skills, learn about art history, and create their own works of art.
Qualifications: Volunteer dance, music, theater, and visual art teachers with certification must have: a passion for the arts, a commitment to working with children, a teaching certification in the relevant subject area, experience teaching the arts or a related field, and experience using virtual teaching platforms (if applicable).

The Community School of the Arts Foundation provides arts education including, drama, creative arts, and dance classes at no cost to K-12, and participants identified with moderate to severe disabilities attending at Southern California Public Schools. We provide children in the community with a supportive, nurturing, and safe environment where their creativity and imagination can be encouraged and their capabilities can be explored and expanded.

The Community School of the Arts Foundation was created in 2003 with the belief that an appreciation and fuller understanding of architecture enrich lives and improve in human experience. Our primary purpose is to provide arts education including, drama, creative arts, and dance classes at no cost to K-12, and participants identified with moderate to severe disabilities attending Public Schools.
