Looking for volunteers to assist with tuck in calls to patients on Wednesdays or Thursdays. It usually takes 2-3 hours, contacting patients or caregivers to see if they need any supplies or medications before the weekend.
Additional volunteer hours can include assistance with mailings, visiting patients, providing companionship, offering caregivers relief.
Volunteer orientation/training takes approximately 8 hours, drug test and TB skin test required.

Description
Enhabit is looking for volunteers to provide services to patients during their final months and weeks of life. Volunteers provide non-medical services and respite time for caregivers and family members. As a hospice volunteer, you will be given choices as to how much and what types of things you want to do.
A few ways you can help as a hospice volunteer is by running errands for patients and families, playing games or reading with patients, walking and caring for family pets, or even creating a photo album of the patient and their family.
