Anonymously write about a mental health struggle one is enduring or has endured in order to work through emotions or trauma and validate the experiences and social identities of readers, thus encouraging them to use both journaling and sharing their emotions as healthy coping mechanisms. Do this by journaling about your mental health struggle(s), taking the time to be vulnerable in sharing your experiences and identity.Use the life-letters.org website to submit your letter once you're done writing it. Report here or on the site to get volunteer hours.

About Life Letters

Location:

5336 Pinewood Dr, Brighton, MI 48116, US

Mission Statement

To run projects that destigmatize mental illness and promote the discussion of mental health. Our goal is to establish the importance of caring for ones mental state by connecting those in need of mental health support to the proper resources and providing them with an understanding community. We hope our platform not only normalizes mental health struggles, but offers those enduring them a safe place for validation and comfort.

Description

Life Letters is a non-profit organization that asks the public to anonymously write letters to us detailing mental struggles they have endured or are enduring. We post these letters on our site in an effort to help those who are struggling to overcome mental obstacles and social stigmas by reminding them they are not alone.
