Description
Every Child's Hope is celebrating 165 years of service this year! ECH (formerly Evangelical Children's Home) serves around 1500 per year, across the state of Missouri. Many have struggled with history of trauma; abuse, neglect, loss, etc. We have various trauma-focused programs ranging from babies in our Early Education Center, to adolescents in our Educational Program & Residential Treatment Program, as well as older youth in our Transitional Living Programs. We serve children, youth, and families in our Foster Care Programs from St. Louis, to Franklin County, Southeast Missouri, as well as Jefferson City. Our Steppingstone Transitional Living Program is not only in St. Louis, but also in Kansas City.
ECH Volunteers are vital to keeping things going on campus! We strive to do all that we can to give clients a sense of pride in their surroundings. Volunteer positions range from campus beautification, organizing or cleaning areas, helping sort & stock the gift shop, office work, tutoring, mentoring, committees, assisting with Early Education, and our newest upcoming volunteer position--Front Desk Volunteer! This person will assist with goings on in the main building during daytime weekday business hours; deliveries, calls, signing in visits or meetings, files, keeping area tidy, other projects as needed.
