Are you compassionate and caring and looking to help others in your community? If so, we'd love for you to consider volunteering with our patients and families.
Residential Hospice is seeking dedicated volunteers to help patients and families during their end-of-life journey. Our volunteers provide companionship and friendship to patients wherever they are, be it at in a nursing facility or at home.
Volunteers may engage with patients in variety of ways. These activities can range from reading aloud, doing puzzles, or attending facility activities with the patient to simply listening to music, talking or holding a hand. Volunteers also may provide a respite for caregivers who are caring for a loved one, by sitting with a patient while the caregiver can take time for themselves.
As a hospice volunteer, your presence and support can make an impact for our patients and their families. If this seems like something that would be a good fit for you, we’d love to hear from you.
