Street Team
ORGANIZATION: BirchBark Foundation
Please visit the new page to apply.
We are working to develop a team of volunteers who will serve as our Street Team for BirchBark.
As an Street Team member, you will be the face of BirchBark at events in the community.
Your job will be to communicate with members of the public about BirchBark's programs and to share with people how they can engage with BirchBark - whether as a volunteer, financial supporter, or beneficiary of our programming. You will also spread the word in your community that BirchBark provides lifesaving financial assistance for families with financial limitations. Other activities include distributing brochures, flyers, and donation boxes, tabling at local events such as festivals and farmers markets. Street Team volunteers also talk to their veterinarian about signing up as a Community Vet Partner,
To be an effective Street Team volunteer, you should have a strong knowledge of BirchBark, including its programs and history, and you should be able to communicate clearly, professionally, and in a positive, cheerful manner with those you meet.
Before sending you out into the field, we will be sure to coach you on all things BirchBark so you feel prepared to represent the organization!
We will have opportunities for the Street Team throughout Santa Cruz, Monterey, and San Benito Counties.
These events are not regularly scheduled, but we will send out a notice to our Street Team in advance so that you can sign up to represent the organization!
