Victorious Children’s Ministries (VCM) is a Community-Based Organization in Uganda.
We have a great variety of volunteer opportunities available and would be honored and privileged to have you come and volunteer with us on our projects.
All you need is to bring yourself, your desire to make a difference, and your love for children and experience which will be invaluable in making a difference in the lives of our children and very rewarding for you.
Your accommodation would be a lovely self-contained guest room with a shower which is very secure. We provide 3 meals, lovingly cooked by Maama plus morning and afternoon tea, and will endeavor to make your time with us enjoyable

Description
Victorious Children’s Ministries (VCM) is a Christian Community Based Organization in Uganda. Located in the Kawanda Kaayi Zone, Wakiso District
We aim to cooperate and collaborate with local authorities and members of the community to accomplish this. We believe that by empowering the children through the teaching of Jesus, they will grow spiritually, physically, emotionally, and intellectually to be healthy, happy, responsible, caring adults who will make a difference in their community.
We work with families and individuals in the community together with sponsors, volunteers, and supporters to provide a safe, happy, loving family environment, health care, and education to the children. VCMU houses 15 children at the ministry, supports another 32 vulnerable children in the community with food and school fees, and provides an education to 110 children, ages 4-13 from poor families at our school C&K Child Development Centre.
We are growing in our sustainability through cultivating crops at our 3-acre garden and our piggery. Our crops provide healthy meals for the children, distribute food to poor families in the community and sell crops to provide funds for the ministry.
We remain more committed than ever to our goals and know that through Jesus we are winners. Our work is vital not only to the children but our whole community and we look forward to continued progress.

- 8 hours working from Monday to Friday, Saturday, and Sunday day off
- There are no specific requirements to volunteer with VCM. However, volunteers must be flexible and patient. You should have a passion and love for children, as well as a desire to help within multicultural communities.
