The Salvation Army is looking for 150 NEW VOLUNTEERS from social groups, churches, families, businesses and individuals to come out in November and December to ring bells in 2024.
It doesn't take much training, just a willingness to go out into the community, on behalf of the community, to help raise money at the Red Kettle. We have kettles both indoors and outside - so don't let the weather hold you back!
We'd love for groups to ring at the red kettles for a whole day (10-6 PM) and individuals/families to aim for a half day (10-2 PM or 2-6 PM). If that's not good for you feel free to sign up for a two-hour window for one or a few days. We'll work with you, we just need you do come ring for our community.
So pair up with some friends, be a group organizer and start a new annual tradition to come ring bells with The Salvation Army. Your time will help feed the hungry and homeless, send kids to camp and provide Christmas to families in need.
Remember, all donations given in Summit County will STAY in Summit County!
You can call or text John Kasler at 330.958.2906 or email him at john.kasler@use.salvationarmy.org or use the "I WANT TO VOLUNTEER" button and sign up for yourself. .
Thank you!
