Do you make art? Visual? Jewelry? Scrapbooking? Photography? Writing? What about helping a hospice patient create a lasting memory for their loved ones? You can

  • Make fingerprint jewelry / thumbprint pendants
  • Create scrapbooks of their photos
  • Help them write a book or poem about their life
  • Put together a playlist of their favorite music
  • What project can you imagine for them?
You get specific training as a hospice volunteer then meet a patient or two that wants your help to create good art that will last beyond their death.
For more information, contact CJ Pharr, Volunteer Coordinator at HealthONE Hospice, 719-268-2582 or cesslie.ladehoffpharr@hcahealthcare.com

You must pass a drug screen, background check, TB test, complete orientation (at your own pace) and mentor with me while you meet patients and make art with hospice patients.
