We are looking for volunteer tutors to work with adult learners in Adult Basic Education and English as a Second Language. This volunteer opportunity is a transformative experience that will not only permit you to connect with others, but also will provide an unforgettable and meaningful experience for you as the volunteer tutor! It is both in-person and virtual, with flexible hours to fit your schedule!

Description

ROE #33's Adult Volunteer Literacy Program will c onnect you with local adult learners as a Volunteer Tutor. This volunteer opportunity is a transformative experience that will not only permit you to connect with learners and help them achieve their goals, but also will provide an unforgettable and meaningful experience for you! This is a long-term volunteer opportunity. Volunteer tutors are required to have a High School Diploma or equivalent, be over the age of 18, and complete a 12 hour pre-service training. Since the program began in 2017 we have helped hundreds of adults pursuing their high school equivalency degree or improving their English language skills. We hope that you are interested in being part of this great program!
