Manos de Cristo, a non-profit organization in Austin, TX, is dedicated to empowering members of our community through educational programs, food and clothing programs, and our low-cost dental clinic.
Manos de Cristo offers basic computer classes online, and we are currently in need of a dedicated volunteer to commit to tutoring students in our online computer classes every Monday or Wednesday from 7:00 to 8:30 pm (Central Time). The tutoring is entirely in Spanish. The tutoring will run until July 17 or 22, 2024. Experience is a plus but not a requirement. Manos de Cristo will provide class training and teaching materials.
This is an excellent opportunity for those who want to practice the Spanish language, or for Spanish speakers who want to help the community.
Each semester, our volunteer teachers tell us that Manos is truly a unique and inspiring place, and we look forward to hearing from you! Please contact Maria Palacios at mpalacios@manosdecristo.org to volunteer.
